Blast Royale will be a completely Free-to-Play game when we release the Free-to-Play layer. Players will be able to play the game on any available platform for free. This means that players will not have to make an upfront payment in the game to play.

At First Light Games we believe that the future of games is that they are free to play, but that players own their own assets within that game if they contribute to the game economy and ecosystem.

How it works

All new players will be given a set of free items to start the game with. There will be systems in the game to get more items and to manipulate existing items.

Players will be able to earn in-game resources, more free items, and, with impressive skill, some tokens. Eventually, players may earn enough to obtain NFT items, even though they started with just free items and no upfront payments.
