New features

  • New feature to select squads in Custom Games. Simply select Battle Royale Trios as the game mode, create a room, and then choose your squad using a toggle in the top left corner of the custom room screen. Trios in Custom Games are available to all players. You can also play Trios as a Casual game mode, just choose it in the game mode selection screen.

  • New settings screen that is visually pleasing and consistent with the game's style.

  • New portraits in the global leaderboard and after-match standings. To change your portrait, you need to access the Blast Hub and make the change there.

  • New mutator in custom games: ForceLevelPlayingField. With this mutator active all equipment of player loadouts is start with Rare rarity (no matter if it was higher or lower rarity before). Also all weapons that are spawned on the map at the start of a match are Rare rarity as well. Crates, however, still have a chance to drop upgraded equipment if you already picked up a starting Rare one.

Systems update

  • The game now only allows players to carry one gun at a time in a match. This simplifies the game, especially for new users, as they don't have to understand the complexities of managing multiple weapon slots and the interactions between them.

Bugfixes

  • Fixed an issue where players were unable to move their characters during a match.

  • Fixed a bug with the NFT transfer cooldown that was not working as intended. Now, if an account received an NFT less than 24 hours ago, that NFT will not contribute to the CS pool and CS take. However, you can still use this NFT in a match for gameplay reasons.

  • Fixed a bug with the calculation of CS earnings that was resulting in higher earnings than intended. The base CS take value for further calculation was 16, when it was supposed to be 9.

Balancing changes

  • We increased the maximum ammo count for all weapons.

  • We reduced bullet speed to increase the likelihood of being able to dodge shots.

  • Craft Spice pool base values have been changed to emphasize the significance of Adjectives for the pool size, so the number of NFTs owned has a lower impact on its own:

    • Base Pool Size K 100 -> 25

    • Pool Scale K 7 -> 3.5

  • Values of Grades and Adjectives have been adjusted to align with the chances of obtaining those Grades and Adjectives from Blastboxes, plus added "compression" for diminishing returns. Values are also adapted so it makes sense to chase better Adjectives and Grades based on your play style and situation overall. We made a calculator to provide some examples of this system: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JjsjhXv-b65dW7k_eYEHdK0a6zBmYPQDKK5PkcNql88/edit?usp=sharing You can make a copy of this sheet and experiment with it putting various loadouts. The exact changes of values for Adjectives and Grades are provided below.

  • Updated adjective values that affect the CS pool size:

    • Regular: 0.000 (no changes)

    • Cool: 0.00999 -> 0.0117

    • Ornate: 0.015 -> 0.02251

    • Posh: 0.02251 -> 0.03641

    • Exquisite: 0.03999 -> 0.05769

    • Majestic: 0.08 -> 0.08771

    • Marvellous: 0.13 -> 0.15179

    • Magnificent: 0.2 -> 0.19881

    • Royal: 0.3 -> 0.2522

    • Divine: 0.5 -> 0.28101

  • Set new values for grades that affect the CS take from a match:

    • V: 0.000 (no changes)

    • IV: 0.05 -> 0.088

    • III: 0.15 -> 0.409

    • II: 0.450 -> 1.384

    • I: 1.000 -> 3.032

  • Repair costs for non-NFTs have been changed. Now the cost per 1 durability point is 150 coins, and this price is fixed per durability point and not going up regardless of how many repairs have been done before.
