Improvements

  • Teammates' indicators are visible on the edge of the minimap to show you where they are

  • Teammates circles on minimap increased in size for better visibility

  • You can also see where your teammates fell on a the minimap, marked with an x

  • Minimap was visually improved

  • Teammates now collide with each other and block each other’s bullets. Pay attention to your positioning and have fun pushing your friends around

  • Storm in a match on Maze Mayhem has more small steps in the end and not closing to nothing for longer letting players resolve the match in a proper fight

  • Safe zones are allowed to move further away from their previous locations, so now sometimes you may have to run chasing the moving safe area

  • Haptic feedback was fixed and returned to the game. You can turn it off in the Settings

  • Grass filled one of the districts in Maze Mayhem. Also, shadows and colours got updated for better clarity

  • Health and Shields of a player are visible in Spectator mode

  • Red markers will guide players to create accounts to secure their progress

Balancing

  • Airdrops should spawn closer to the safe zone

  • No loss of Trophies. Even if you end up last you won’t lose anything, but also won’t gain. Every other place gets at least +1 Trophy

  • Every kill in a match is rewarded with 2 Trophies now (up from 1.5)

  • The damage now overflows shields (blue line) into health, so if you had 10 shields and received 30 damage then your shields will go to 0 and your health will receive 20 damage

  • Maze Mayhem storm timings were decreased by about 20%

  • More ammo spawners on Maze Mayhem

  • Equipment Crates (green ones) spawn any consumables, not just ammo

  • Consumables spawned from crates are chosen randomly out of all consumables that are useful at the moment for the player who opened the crate. Crates spawn ammo as a fallback scenario

  • Initial ammo in a gun reduced 46% > 20%

  • Pistols

    • damage slightly increased: 55 > 57

    • fire rate slightly increased: 0.3 > 0.25

  • SMGs:

    • Attack cooldown increased 0.12 > 0.13

    • Damage decreased 27 > 25

    • Accuracy increased 15 > 12 (slight compensation buff to make the weapon a bit more consistent to hit)

  • Heavy MGs:

    • Range reduced 8 > 7

  • Sniper:

    • Range decreased 10 > 9

  • Shotgun:

    • Pellets 6 β†’ 4

    • Spread/angle of bullets 12 β†’ 28

    • Each pellet’s damage was increased

    • Pellets are now equally spread

    • Max ammo increased 100 > 150

  • Crates in a match will open quicker now; equipment pickup will happen quicker as well

Experiment

  • Riverbank Rumble has special looting rules embedded. We would be grateful for the feedback. Here is how they work:

    • Gear doesn’t drop from crates

    • When you pick up a weapon it always comes with a bunch of ammo; However, the gun you carry disappears, it’s not being dropped on the floor

    • Green and Blue crates drop three items each. Green drops your weapon from meta-loadout only once, then it drops specials and two consumables. Blue crate always drops three consumables

    • Big crates only come from Airdrop

    • There are many weapons spawned on the map and a few ammo packs

    • Shields are more scarce

    • Healthpacks are the most scarce consumables

Fixes

  • Fixed long rectangle visual glitch appearing on some devices

  • Several fixes for bots to make the progression of difficulty smoother, highest difficulty bots more fair, and low difficulty bots a bit smarter

  • Few fixes for visibility issues on Maze Mayhem map around bushes areas

  • Few fixes for z-fighting on Maze Mayhem

  • Fix for passing correct bot difficulty into custom matches

  • And many other fixes, both visible and invisible

Known issues

We fixed many issues, but there are still some more that we are aware of but didn’t manage to fix for this release. These are:

  • If you die while playing Duos but your teammate eventually wins the game, you don’t receive Win in statistics. If both players stay alive - then both receive Win.

  • β€œBack” arrow button on several screens does nothing when you tap it

  • After reconnection, no damage numbers fly from enemies when you hit them. Also, your health and shields bars are showing wrong numbers till they are refreshed (logically numbers are correct). And there are possible other visual glitches after reconnection, especially in team-based matches. If you see glitches then you can finish the match, then restart the game to start clean.

  • Squad Up functionality is still unstable, especially when you play a few consecutive matches. Workaround - restart the game and create squad again if you spot issues.

  • Using special ability in some cases may break UI leaving aiming radius and other artifacts. Workaround - try using another special again, it may fix the situation.

  • Custom Game Screen shows flickering names in players list

  • Final damage to an opponent doesn’t produce flying damage number

  • Z-fighting and visual glitches still exist in custom maps

  • Bots movement is not great in custom maps due to known navmesh issues on those maps
