🗒️0.19.0

This is a massive update with the new huge map that supports up to 48 players and you can also play in teams of 4! It’s the update you won’t want to miss!

Here’s what it brings...

New additions:

Welcome to “Noob Island” the latest main map. It’s five times larger than “Maze Mayhem,” offering plenty of new areas to explore.

Exploring the depths of the new map is even better with more friends, which is why we’ve introduced Quads. Now, you can play matches in teams of four players.

To amp up the fun, we’ve increased the maximum number of players per match to 48. The more, the merrier, right?

The new Blast Pass season will commence on May 1st, featuring new characters, melee weapons, avatars, and more.

Meet Max and Zoe, the new brand default characters added to the game.

Characters now carry their secondary weapon on their back, allowing you to flaunt your stylish melee weapon. However, opponents will also be able to spot if you’re packing a rocket launcher.

Plus, a bonus - several new options in Custom Games: A “Hardcore” mutator for an added challenge, which eliminates all health and shield pickups from a match. A slider to select the maximum number of players in a match. A dropdown menu to set a default team size for a match. An “Auto Balance” feature that prevents players from changing teams; instead, teams will be automatically organized to distribute players equally.

Improvements:

Cleaner Spectator UI: We’ve streamlined the user interface for spectators for a more seamless viewing experience.

Simplified Navigation: The UI now features only a Back button in the top left corner, eliminating the redundancy of both Back and Home buttons.

Bullet Mechanics: The sizes and colliders of bullets have been enhanced for better gameplay precision.

Flag Spawn: When a character is defeated in a match, the flag of the victor will now spawn above them.

Removed “HidePlayerNames” Mutator: This feature has been removed from Custom Games as it is no longer functional.

Shrinking Circle Update: The shrinking circle is now rendered on the ground beneath characters for improved visibility.

Animation Fixes: Addressed several animation issues, including the ‘head shaking’ effect with Sniper and Minigun weapons, as well as the way characters hold them.

Game Modes Screen: The visual presentation of the game modes screen has been slightly enhanced.

Shrinking Circle Sounds: The audio for the shrinking circle has been updated for better quality.

Game Mode Accessibility: Game Mode buttons will now appear locked if your squad exceeds the player limit that a game mode supports.

Fame Level-Up Display: The Fame Level-up feature now immediately shows the reward you’ve received, followed by a display of the next level’s reward after a short wait or upon tapping.

Blast Pass Indicator: The Blast Pass button on the home screen now indicates the current level of the pass.

Optimization Improvements: We’ve implemented several optimization improvements, particularly to enhance the performance of the new large map on lower-end devices. These optimizations also benefit performance on other maps.

Match End Screen: The match end screen will now display only the winners.

Bot Enhancements: We’ve made adjustments to the bots to provide a more enjoyable gameplay experience.

Balancing:

Player movement speed was increased.

Updated matchmaking times to 10, 25, 40 for Solo, Duos, Quads.

Chance for the golden gun from regular green chest reduced from 39% to 26%.

Melee damage increased from 9 to 12.

Ammo pickup time reduced from 0.6s to 0.45s.

Rocket Launcher: Improved visual of a rocket bullet. Attack Cooldown increased from 1.3s to 1.65s. Rocket Speed increased from 6 to 8. Attack Angle increased from 3 to 10. Attack Range increased from 8 to 9. Burst fire - it now shoots 2 rockets. Movement speed reduced when shooting.

Chance for Rocket Launcher to drop from: Regular green chest - chance reduced. Spawned on a map - chance significantly reduced. Airdrop chest - chance slightly increased.

Assault Rifle: Attack angle reduced from 7 to 2; it’s way more accurate now at a distance.

Bugfixes:

Fixed intro match camera to eliminate the dizzying movement.

Fixed an issue with bots sometimes moving extremely slowly after revival.

Fixed an issue with airdrop falling at the same place twice.

Fixed an issue with character not rotating when knocked down.

Fixed issues where players would remain in a “crawling” state.

Fixed Golden SMG that was dealing the same damage as a regular one.

Fixed an issue with trophies in a leaderboard being one game behind.

Fixed an issue where the in-game shop was breaking the interface for some players.

Fixed an issue where bots weren’t able to attack over water.

Known issues:

We’ve fixed many issues, but there are still some that we’re aware of and didn’t manage to fix for this release. These include:

On low-end devices with low RAM, especially iOS ones, the game may crash if you play many matches in a single session.

Some animation issues, like the excessive “head shaking,” are still present for small and rapid-fire guns.

If you grab two weapons at exactly the same time, the gun in your hands might be different from what the UI shows you.

If you die while playing Duos but your teammate eventually wins the game, you won’t receive a Win in your statistics. However, if both players stay alive, then both receive a Win.

After reconnection, damage numbers do not appear above enemies when you hit them. Additionally, your health and shield bars may display incorrect numbers until they are refreshed (though the actual numbers are correct). Other visual glitches may also occur after reconnection, especially in team-based matches. If you encounter glitches, you can finish the match and then restart the game for a clean start.

The Squad Up functionality is still unstable, particularly when playing several consecutive matches. As a workaround, restart the game and create the squad again if you encounter issues.

The Custom Game Screen may display flickering names in the player’s list.

The final damage dealt to an opponent does not produce a flying damage number.
