Improvements

  • Now the avatars in the match will represent selected characters, not the meta-avatar equipped in the collection screen. It will help to identify your teammates and enemies easier

  • β€œSelect Drop Zone” was updated to ensure that map preview is big for easier selection

  • Melee attack doesn’t have a UI indicator anymore to make close fights cleaner and more exciting; we also adjusted the attack to make it easier to hit

  • Storm color got adjusted to be less red to make it more comfortable to play inside it

  • Updated icons of some melee weapons to make them look better

Balancing

  • Solo matchmaking time increased to allow more real players into matches, 10 -> 15 seconds

  • Chances for Coin drop in public matches:

    • Coins chance in a green crate 0.00072 -> 0.01

    • Coins chance in an airdrop 0.00296 -> 0.02

    • Each Coin pickup in a match equals 10 Coins

  • Chances for Blast Bucks (BBs) drop in public matches:

    • BBs chance in a green crate 0.001

    • BBs chance in an airdrop 0.1

    • Each BB pickup in a match equals 1 BB

  • Noob Island’s shrinking circle got changed to increase the density of β€œevents” on Noob Island, make the match more dynamic:

    • First zone

      • Delay 45 - 35

      • Size 40% - 56%

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue with Corpos characters and avatars not syncing inside the game

  • Fixed an issue (hopefully) with β€œghost” damage

  • Fixed an issue that prevented from seeing match standings if you join the game as a spectator

  • Fixed an issue with shotgun pellets not split evenly within the attack spread which led to inconsistent results

Known issues

  • Custom Rooms issue - you MUST NOT create rooms with max player count set to more than 35. If you do so then the match will never start, so set the counter to 35 or lower

  • You will see only one damage number when you hit someone up close with a shotgun. It’s a visual glitch that we will fix in the next update. The real damage up close is as high as it was

  • If you die while playing Duos but your teammate eventually wins the game, you won’t receive a Win in your statistics. If both players stay alive, then both receive a Win.

  • After reconnection, damage numbers do not appear above enemies when you hit them. Additionally, your health and shield bars may display incorrect numbers until they are refreshed (though the actual numbers are correct). Other visual glitches may also occur after reconnection, especially in team-based matches. If you encounter glitches, you can finish the match and then restart the game for a clean start.

  • The Custom Game Screen may display flickering names in the player’s list.

  • The final damage dealt to an opponent does not produce a flying damage number.

  • The new Friendslist system and updated Team system and Custom Games screen are hopefully stable, but there might be bugs as these systems are huge. Please report all the issues and we will be fixing them in the following versions.
